The resort is situated south west within Sabi Sand Game Reserve bordering Kruger National Park and Sabiepark. As the name suggests the lodge is built on a hill overlooking a regularly frequented waterhole. A vast array of wildlife is noted around the river all year round, with the Big 5 regularly making an appearance. Early morning and evening drives are the perfect times to see the animals at their absolute best. The Park rangers are skilled and experienced allowing you to enjoy the finest game drives money can offer. Land Rovers are the transport of choice giving you comfort and most importantly safety. Within the security of the Land Rovers you can see lions, cheetahs and leopards metres from the car, taking the chance to photograph and record your safari experience.
