Garonga Safari Camp

Garonga Safari Camp is a wonderful setting for Game drives and bush walks through the African plains. A small 14 bed resort is ideal for an intimate safari of South Africa situated west of the renowned Kruger National Park in the Northern Province of South Africa. Garonga Safari Camp is a contributor of the Makalali wildlife conservation group and can therefore give you current information on the area and the wildlife offering a different and more thorough safari experience.

The Camp has received the AA Gold achiever award for 3 consecutive years for its excellent accommodation and service.
6 of the luxury suites over look the Makalali River delivering exquisite vistas from dawn until dusk. Each of the suites has their own private deck along with indoor and outdoor showers, to really get in touch with nature.
The design is carried through the large, open-plan living area where the accent is on beautiful surroundings, relaxed living and excellent, innovative cuisine. Garonga takes its food very seriously, combining bush cuisine and game meats with Mediterranean influences such as pasta, roasted vegetables and home-grown herbs

Garonga offers an holistic experience giving people much more than the “Big 5”, not only can you track wildlife across the plains but you can learn about the environment and the animals as you walk.
Garonga Safari camp gives you safari for the soul, a chance to recharge the batteries and become you again. Many visitors return as there is always another part of Africa to enjoy.
